Many people move to Windermere to have access to the Butler Chain of Lakes. In theory, every community in the area has access thanks to the several boat ramps that are located around Windermere. But which communities have direct access from the back yard?
One of the largest communities in Windermere, this luxury 1500 home community offers direct access to Lake Tibet, Lake Palmer and Lake Burden. Lake Burden is a large lake but is not joined to the Butler Chain. Located directly outside Keene’s Pointe is Keene’s Park, a public boat ramp offering access to the Butler Chain. Inside Keene’s Pointe, you are able to access Lake Burden via a ramp from within the community. You are also able to launch non-motorized vessels into Lake Tibet.
Homes for sale in Isleworth Country Club offers some of the most stunning lakefront homes available in all of central Florida. Owning a home in Isleworth gives you many options and a large choice of lakes to be positioned on. Isleworth’s homes are located on Lake Butler, Lake Louise, Lake Chase, Lake Blanche, Lake Tibet, and Lake Bessie. If you do not own a home on the lake in Isleworth there is a boat ramp in the community where you can launch directly into Lake Tibet.
